Mother's Orange Marmalade

Cut up 8 oranges - do not peel, but take out core and cut off little on ends. Then put into blender (only about 15 seconds). Then put into large pan with 1 1/2 cups water. Cook until tender, approximately 20 minutes. Then measure and add sugar....one cup of sugar for each cup of orange mixture. Then simmer until thick, approximately two hours... can be done with Sure Jel also.
