The Importance Of Followup

If you want to explode your internet business, this information should be taken very seriously!

Use the power of the internet for followup, where the Dreaded FOLLOWUP can be so effortless and inexpensive.

The *Drip *Drip *Drip system is also know as a torture system, you keep dripping on them until they say "yes" or "no".

I have had people join programs 3 months, 6 months, 9 months and even 2 years down the road and they always say the following thing "Wow you are persistent, I am impressed!"

The cost of followup online or offline is minimal so don't forget to DRIP... DRIP... DRIP...

A good pre-followup tip that I have found most helpful: Learn to ask good questions, so that you know what your prospects want... what is their "Hot Button"? If you don't know what they want, how can you help them? For example, if you know that they want money for their children's college education, or money for retirement years, or they want enough money to quit their job...... then you can work with their "Hot Buttons" and show them how our program can help them with the passive income our program creates. Remember "Benefits" sell --- people need to hear how our program will help them get them what they want.

Have a System! To be effective, we need a "System" ... a system that will build a very large list of prospects.

Our EzLeadCapture System is very effective... when your prospect clicks through your splash page, it will trigger your auto-responder series... and your auto-responder will drip-drip-drip.

Lag time is a killer, so we want to get the first presentation to them immediately. That is taken care of by our Thank You Page, as well as, the first email goes out immediately.

You do want to go to your back office and send out a broadcast once or twice a week, giving them information that will encourage for them to join and/or upgrade.

Phone calls are very important - Always encourage your people to phone you with their questions - most of us do not have the time to chase people down on the phone.

Circumstances Do Change: Even if prospects are not interested now... they could lose their job next month... they suddenly when they get your email..... that will remind them of your great opportunity. If you do not followup, then you won't know and they probably have forgotten that they had contacted you about an opportunity and they may go with someone else's program.

Credibility: The fact, that you have been persistent in followup, will give you much more credibility in having a reputable business.

Do Not Forget To Close: One of the rules of a successful networker is to ask their prospects to join..... our auto-responder emails do just that... and encourage them to upgrade as well. If we do not specifically ask a prospect to join, they might think we do not want them to join.... so when you email them, give them suggestions as to how to earn extra money to get them into QLx3.

Also, when you take them back to your splash page and have them signin... then go over the Thank You Page with them AND THEN....... in a sense you are closing when you ask them to click on your QLx3 link... and then when you get to the website.... the first thing you do is to... ask them to scroll to the bottom and tell you what it says on the yellow bar....... if it has your name there...... then you say "Now Click on The Join Button." - That's your close.

One of the hard line rules of marketing is people seldom say yes or come to a firm purchasing decision the first time they are exposed. This includes product, services, business ventures such as becoming an associate or distributor as well as being a customer.

Advertising experts tell us, 97% of all sales are NOT made on the first exposure. It takes five to ten exposures (follow-ups) to a "looker" for them to turn into a "buyer".

That doesn't mean they will look at your product 8 or 10 times or come to see you 5 times before they buy. For instance, purchasing a car they may visit 4 dealerships 2 or 3 times before the decide to buy. They might look at several brochures ads or magazine articles to expose themselves, but 5 to 10 times exposed = a purchasing decision.

It does mean that the marketer that follows up 5 to 7 times has the best chance of being the one they buy from. Time is an element as well the exposure may be over several months or longer. The desire for the benefit may build throughout the number of exposures and the marketer that is "visible" when the decision time arrives stands the best chance of getting the order.

In the back of most peoples mind is an idea "I haven't had enough exposure to decide yet." When their exposure level is reached, in the back of the mind the thought is "it's time to get that." They have just turned the corner from "Looker Street" on to "Buyer Avenue".

The person may not actually say "no" each time, but each time you follow-up and your person doesn't buy, they are saying: "not now, buddy; do something else for me; I'm still shopping around; I haven't met with my partner; try again later; in short, you haven't brought me to a decision quite yet. Don't pressure me but I will take some more information so I can make an informed decision".

As a professional marketer you need to have what it takes to persevere through the follow-up process and not quit. Be willing to put forth the effort to get to the last "no," or consider keeping a day job with a salary. You must be willing to turn the corner and follow-up.

Here are some pre-follow-up guidelines to ensure marketing success...

* Know the REAL reasons your prospect wants your offer.
* Know the REAL reasons your prospect does not want it.
* Know their hot buttons. What do they want (strongly) that the benefits of your offer will give them. Work with those "wants" in constructing your follow-up plan.

The only way to know what people want and what benefit your product, service or your business opportunity will provide for a specific person is to ask some specific questions. Ask them early in the process too. Good questions may allow a marketer to shave some time off the process and number of exposures.

Good questions and a larger number of specific questions are even better when you are selecting people for your business opportunity. You need to know if you want to be in business with the person. To add a person to your networking downline you will make the decision if you want them and follow up only with the ones you want. It's different with the sale of a product or service.

Once your decision that your product is a fit for a prospect or the prospect in a fit for your marketing group Here are some post follow-up guidelines to ensure your marketing success...

* Present NEW information each time you call or visit.
* Be creative in your style and presentation manner.
* Be SINCERE about your desire to help the customer first, and earn the commission second.
* Be direct in your communication. Beating around the bush will only frustrate them and send them elsewhere.
* Be friendly. People like to buy from friends.
* Answer all questions. Don't patronize the prospect.

Every follow-up is different, and elements from the above guidelines must be chosen as called for.

You will never fail just around the CORNER from success when building your business, if you will follow through and follow up.
