What would you do if you were in an automobile accident, which
was not your fault, but the policeman comes back to your car
and says "you are under arrest - you have charges pending in
another state for hit and run" and you tell him that you have
never been in that state. However, he arrests you anyway because
he see where someone with your name got out on bond with hit and
run charges pending. How do you proof it was not you? What
Would You Do? This is an example of IDENTITY THEFT BY ARREST - how do you
prove you are innocent? Most people do not realize there are different types of
Identity Theft 10 Million people were victims of Identity Theft in 2002 alone
and it cost the victims 5 billion dollars. What if your HMO or insurance company cancels your hospitalization
because they say you have "aids"? You tell them you don't have
aids, but they have your name and records that shows you do.
What can you do if someone steals you social security number,
address and receives medical care for aids? What would you do if a theft ring, stole your information and
went out and purchased several cars in your name, changed your
address, so that you don't know about it. Then when you try
to make a purchase, they hold you responsible for all the cars
which were purchased and never paid for? What would you do? There are so many Identity Theft horror stories, it really
