Carolyn Lee here and I want to say Welcome and I hope you enjoy my success series articles... where I want to emphasize and focus on the most important factors in creating wealth and happiness. Negative thinking can most definitely affect your wealth or the lack of it.

Negative thinking changes the physiological characteristics of the brain, impacting its functioning.

Negative thinking can seriously impact a person's work performance, resulting in fewer promotions and fewer earnings, and an increase in job dissatisfaction.

Elderly adults are also at risk from the affects of negative thinking.

Negative thinking is known to cause an increase in depressive-episodes for many, especially the elderly.

Negative thinking blocks impulses from being properly transmitted between the central-nervous system and the brain. When this happens, there are a number of consequences as a result. Your brain cannot interpret impulses correctly, and this affects the functioning of your brain and body. You will experience trouble with comprehension of the stimuli around you (people, and things.)

You will find it harder to remember things, resulting in missed appointments and misunderstandings with others. The hormones that act as a conduit between the cells of the organs in the body, the central and immune systems, and the brain, will not be at the level that the body needs to function. This leads to fatigue, sleep disturbances, emotional upsets, physical complaints, and a susceptibility to colds and flu.

One negative thought normally leads to another, and soon your mind is being bashed with wave after wave of negative thoughts. If you do not do something to stem the tide of negativity running amuck in your mind, it can really hurt the health of your mind and body.

You can begin to repair the damage that negative thinking has already caused to your health and prevent negative thinking from hurting your health in the future with positive, self-affirmations, and relaxation techniques such as deep-breathing to release negative thoughts from your mind. Exercise is also recommended as a tool for repairing the damage of negative thinking and as a preventative measure against future damage.

Do not underestimate the power of negative thinking. It can controls us, wounds us, limits us, and ultimately destroys us.

How To Break The Bad Habit Of Negative Thinking



Exercise can help you to increase the hormones in your body responsible for happy emotions.

Exercise too can give you a positive focus for your energy so you won�t be wasting it on the negative thinking that can hurt you and your health.

Exercise helps every part of your body to work better. Exercise can do wonders for you in terms of reducing your negative thinking by building your body�s level of happy hormones, enabling the body and brain to work better. You may want to get into a regular exercise program with proper equipment, and resources you need for the best health possible.

You may benefit from taking a course in how to break bad habits; however, meditation can help you eliminate your negative thinking, so I strongly suggest that you immediately learn to meditate.

Meditation will bring peace of mind within and can improve your life in so many, many ways.

If you are prone to or experience depression, you must learn to meditate.

I feel it is essential for everyone to learn how to meditate and create a positive and peaceful life.

I read several books about meditation and his was, by far, the best.

Create Joyfulness

Make sure you fall in love with someone who is positive, spiritual, joyful, fun loving, sensual, optimistic and who makes you feel optimistic, happy, fun loving, sensual, and hopeful for the future.

Wake up with a good attitude. As you wake up... open your eyes wide, take three full breaths, deep into your lungs and smile (yes, smile). Say out loud: "Today is going to be a brilliant day". "I am going to make great commissions today." "I am going to help a lot of people be Joyful."Continue to talk through your planned day ... "My day will be stress-free", "I will have a really productive day". Then hop out of bed and watch your day unfold in a positive way.

Focus on what you have... not what you do not have in life, but rather what you do. There are people in third world countries who would be so happy to have the basic necessities.

Enjoy the out of doors, go for a walk, or just enjoy the green trees or that special leaf or flower. Smile at how wonderful it is to be alive, in a world full of beauty.

If you drink, give up the booze..... Life without hangovers is in itself a joyful and real experience.

I dare not give my opinions on the overuse of prescription drugs, etc.

Look at people. At every point in your day when you have to interact with another human being - make eye contact (yes, even with the grumpy bus driver) and say "hello", "please" and "thank you". Smile as you say these things. This becomes a habit over time and even at tough times it offers a glimmer of humanity to other people who too are struggling with life.

Find something to do each day that's about another person other than yourself. For example, offer a seat to someone on a bus, call a lonely relative, volunteer within your community, take a friend's dog for a walk. There is an endless well of joy to be found in looking outside of ourselves.

Listen to your favorite music and dance in place or dance around the house.

Do something to help someone else, perhaps help an elderly person do something that they are unable to do by themself. Or just make a phone call to an elderly person and maybe tell them a joke or a cute story to make them laugh.

Do something you love. something that makes time fly by. Something that makes you happy and feel whole.

Call up an old friend and laugh, or watch a movie to make you laugh, or read a joke book... then share the jokes daily.
