Free Search Engine Submissions |

This page is to assist you in registering your Web Site Address (or URL) with the search engines. It is free and not necessary to pay money to do this; however, you will find some search engines offer to submit for a charge. I recommend typing in your own information for FREE. If you want to submit to thousands of sites automatically, you can purchase software to do this for you. Based on my experience, I do not recommend it.
For Single Submissions, which I think are more effective:
Please, take your time and read information on each site........each search engine is different. The more you learn, the more effective your submissions will be.
In most cases, if you register more than once a month, search engines will remove and ban your site. So mark your calendar for the same day each month to register your site with all the major search engines. One exception, may be google.com, the last time I read their site, they said they don't care how often you register.
Further, I have heard from experts, that's it a good idea to register only one site per day, per search engine.
On some sites you will need to search for the "Add URL" or "Submitting your URL." For instance on Info Seek, you will need to scroll to the very bottom/right and look under 'Tools" and then you will see"Add URL."
Read the tips for submiting your URL on all of the search engine sites.
On AOL, if you get an error, click on "search.aol.com" or type in the address, then you will need to select the category first and then it will send you to the proper submission page. Go to Bottom and Click on "Add Your Site"
On the Search King Search Engine Site, you will need to select a Login Name and Pass Word. Save this information on a 3 x 5 index card and the next time this will speed up the process.

After you submit to these Major Search Engines, see the link at the very bottom of this page........ for 250,000 places to advertise - FREE.
Take on the search engines as a challenge and it will be fun... especially after you find yourself in the search engines listings... I have sponsored several people into my business from search engines, so it's worth the time.
Yahoo is especially important, so make sure you learn how to get listed in yahoo and remember, getting listed in google.com can often get you into yahoo.
Single Submissions
From time to time the links do NOT work, but go to the
site and find "Submit URL" and then you register from there.
these sites change on a regular basis, so get familiar with them!

Altavista HotBot Lycos You Must Have a Lycos InSite Account to Index Your Sites
You will need to be validated as an InSite user, click on SIGN BE UP and be sure to say your login info. Then return to Lycos Insite and click on Free Site Submission, near bottom, small letters. Then ENTER WEB SITE INFORMATION AN SPECIFY THE URL OF THE PAGE WHERE THE SPIDER SHOULD BEGIN (this is your index page or your first page)
Existing InSite Members, simply login.
Search King
Yahoo - First click on category: "Jobs" or "Internet" or "Law" etc. Then click on "Suggest A Site"
One Seek - To the right of page, you will see "ADD URL" about 4" down the page
